National and regional Toyo Dealer of the Year awards have been presented to Tyrepower dealers from around Australia.
The 2014 Toyo Tires National Dealer of the Year has been awarded to Cluse Bros. Tyrepower in South Australia.
Awarded at the Tyrepower Region A Annual Dinner honouring its members, the National Dealer of the Year prize recognised the highest volume of Toyo tyre sales across key products.
In addition to the accolade and trophy, both the national and regional prize winners received an all-inclusive VIP safari holiday for two to South Africa.
A family-owned business operating four popular Tyrepower outlets in South Australia, Cluse Bros. Tyres earned the award through achieving the highest sales volumes of Toyo’s NanoEnergy 3, TEO Plus, Open Country A/T and the new Open Country A/T II tyres across all outlets in Australia.

With over 250 Tyrepower dealers in contention for the prize, Cluse Bros. co-owner Mark Cluse attributes much of the win to repeat business and offering customers convenience by keeping a full range of fitments in popular Toyo products on hand.
“We have been selling Toyo for eight to 10 years now so we know the product well,” said Mr Cluse. “A lot of people who replace their tyres with Toyos keep coming back and won’t even ask about other brands.
“We keep Toyos in stock in a majority of sizes so we’ve got them there, readily available. When a customer wants something that day we can fit it quickly and it’s great for us because we get the sale.
“Promotions like the “5-for-4” on the A/T II and “4-for-3” on NE3 also really drive volume,” he said.

Regional Dealer of the year awards were also given to the Tyrepower dealers that achieved the highest percentage improvement above individually determined targets in 2014.
Tyrepower Wodonga claimed the prize in the Region A, covering South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania.
In Western Australia, Greenwood Tyrepower took out the local prize. In the north east, the Queensland region saw staunch Toyo supporters Toowoomba Tyrepower accept the award by the narrowest of margins.
Leading New South Wales and the ACT, Gary’s Tyrepower Erina nabbed their local award with the branch consistently exceeding expectations.
Monthly postcards were delivered to Tyrepower dealers throughout 2014 to keep them updated on their progress. Toyo Tires continues to be the brand of choice for many Tyrepower outlets.
