TOYO TIRES ROAD DAMAGE WARRANTY

TERM & CONDITIONS

Period

This Road Hazard Warranty is effective for 6 months from the date of purchase or the first 5,000 km of tyre use, whichever occurs first [the Warranty Period].

How to Claim:

  1. A claim may only be made to an Authorised Toyo dealer listed on https://www.toyotires.com.au/where-to-buy.
  2. The tyre must be on the same vehicle as to which it was originally fitted.
  3. Return the tyre to the Authorised Toyo Tyre retailer from which the tyres were purchased.
  4. The retailer will confirm your purchase date and odometer reading on their Point Of Sale software and, if this Road Hazard Warranty applies, will either;
    1. effect the repair at no cost to the consumer; or
    2. if the tyre is non repairable in accordance with the Australian Standard, replace the tyre at no cost to the consumer, including standard fitting and balancing.

Warranty Benefit:

  1. Free puncture repairs during the Warranty Period in accordance with the Australian Standard.
  2. If a tyre is found not to be repairable during the Warranty Period, a replacement tyre will be supplied free of charge of the same pattern and size, or if that is no longer available, the closest equivalent Toyo product in stock will be supplied. No cash or credit will be given in lieu of a replacement tyre.
  3. Free standard fitting and balancing of the replacement tyre or the repaired tyre.

Exclusions:

  1. Motor sport or commercial use of the tyre is excluded.
  2. Damage arising from misuse is excluded [e.g. flat spotting, snow chain damage, sidewall damage on prematurely worn tyres].
  3. Tyre damage arising from off road use is excluded.
  4. Tyre damage arising from over or under inflation, incorrect wheel alignment, mechanical factors or vandalism is excluded.
  5. This warranty does not apply to tyres that have been supplied or acquired pursuant to a previous claim made under this Road Hazard Warranty.
  6. The costs of disposal of the replaced tyre are excluded.
  7. Toyo Tyres reserves the right to reject a claim that does not meet any or all of the above criteria.

Australian Consumer Law

This Road Hazard Warranty is in addition to other warranties that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
