A new video from Toyo Tires to be screened at AC Milan's home stadium will link fans from around the world.
The video, titled "#weareacmilan. Forza Milan by TOYO TIRES", demonstrates how AC Milan fans around the world are connected by the ball that defines the sport they love.
Numerous video entries were sent in from Milanista (AC Milan fans) from around the world via Instagram. Fans were encouraged to record 15 seconds of their best performance with a soccer ball, which were voted upon each week.
During the one-month submission period, starting from the end of November 2014, a total of 95 unique videos were submitted through the photo and video sharing social media platform.
The entries were then voted upon and favourites selected from the 7,827 votes sent in by online viewers through both Twitter and Facebook.
Selected scenes were edited along with scenes of four AC Milan players – Keisuke Honda, Jeremy Menez, Riccardo Montolivi and Adil Rami – alongside the club’s coach, Filippo Inzaghi. Also featured is championship drifter Masato Kawabata, deciding that a drift-tuned Toyota 86 was better suited to ball juggling than his feet, subsequently performing smoky donuts around his Team Toyo Tires Drift team mate.
Video entries were combined into a single promotional video which will be played at AC Milan home games from Sunday 22 February at the preeminent location for Italian football – the San Siro.
The playing of the video will bring those fans featured into AC Milan’s stadium, delivering successful contributors directly to the faraway home of the football team they love.
