Toyo Tires makes its presence felt at Sydney’s largest car park meet, launching a new range of windscreen banners at the famed End Of Month Meet (EOMM).
As each month rolls by, modified car enthusiasts of all disciplines stare longingly at the last week on their calendar, waiting for the final Thursday to arrive and the car park of Sydney Dragway to come alive.
After a bit of a dip last month, attendance returned to form in June as car after car poured in and people poured out.
As a way of ramping up regular involvement, Toyo Tires launched a new range of windscreen banners exclusively at EOMM in black, blue, white, chrome and gold.
Corey from Phat Wraps joined the Toyo Tires team on the night, demonstrating true professionalism in his skilful application of our high-quality vinyl banners.
Even Zen Garage’s own Justin Fox couldn’t resist a shiny new Toyo Tires windscreen banner for his Proxes R1R-shod MK5 Volkswagen Golf R32, joining the procession of cars taking up the drive-through application service.
Not far from the Toyo Tires stand, one of Mighty Car Mod’s more unique projects – known as the ‘Double Unicorn’ – was drawing a crowd while owner Ben Neil zipped around the car park on Honda’s cult classic ‘trunk bike’, the Motocompo.
Ben’s R34-fronted Nissan Stagea RS-FOUR S was already visually unique when powered by an RB25, but the 4.1L VH41 V8 under the bonnet takes things to a whole new level.
Making around 480hp with the help of a Garrett GTW3884 turbo and Haltech Elite 2500 engine management, this mental street missile is the result of a comprehensive build documentary that’s well worth watching.
It’s always a mixed bag at EOMM, with new and old coming together around a shared passion for all things automotive.
As long as the weird, wild and wonderful continue to make their way out of the woodwork, Toyo Tires will be there to bask in Sydney’s vibrant car scene.
The weather is warming up and we’re excited to head back out to Sydney Dragway this Thursday for what is sure to be another eventful night.
This month, we will be launching a new range of Toyo Tires A4 sticker sheets in black and white to accompany our EOMM line-up of windscreen banners, so be sure to get there early and secure yours!
