Proxes Sport Concept revealed and drifters uncorked at TAS 2016.
From Jan 15 to 17 the latest, coolest and craziest from Japan’s 47 diverse prefectures filled the halls of Tokyo Auto Salon, capturing the imaginations and hearts of over 300,000 attendees.
Toyo Tires’ ‘Ignition’-themed booth was the flashpoint of the show, displaying the new Proxes Sport Concept (more to be revealed soon) alongside Proxes R888R and the latest in automotive performance across every vehicle category.
In true Japanese style, the highlight of the indoor show saw Toyo’s booth overtaken by the CyberJapan dancers. Here’s the (google translated) take on the dancers from Toyo Japan’s journalist:
“Sexy, cute, also in stylish fashion to costume to imagine the near future, I became glued.”
Outdoors, Team Toyo Tires Drift was caught smoking. Defending D1GP champion Kawabata and a svelte, wingless R35X were joined by Toyo-sponsored contemporaries in a no-holds-barred demonstration round, informally opening the D1GP season.
