Luke and Cailtyln from @inspired.to.explore have taken their 2019 Isuzu D-Max to some of Australia’s most stunning backdrops, but they’re not traveling unprepared!
“The mod list is probably too long to list here!” they joke, but it’s obvious that between the Pedders GVM upgrade, the recovery gear and the fully-stocked canopy they’re ready for whatever the trip throws at them.
“We’ve run Toyo tyres since 2005. Our first purchase was a set of Open Country A/T II and we currently run them on all our work utes - one set has done 95,000km and only looks half worn!”
“We’re on our second set of Open Country R/T on the D-Max. The first set did 70,000km and copped an absolute flogging on some of the roughest roads we’ve ever driven on,” they explain, before praising the Open Country R/T for exceptional wear, even in tough conditions.
“We can’t fault them,” they say in closing of the Open Country R/T, our rugged hybrid tyre that’s proving to be a popular pattern with Aussie explorers.
