The rise of the challenger
This Saturday afternoon Sydney’s ANZ stadium will erupt with the biggest AFL game the harbour city has ever seen: a local derby between the Sydney Swans and our GWS GIANTS.
Like the GIANTS, Toyo Tires are challengers. We are driven to perform in markets and competitions long dominated by others. We both utilise leading edge technology to create unmatched performance. We are both rising.
Toyo Tires’ year with the GIANTS has already seen some incredible moments. Taking down Hawthorn and the Swans at home were highlights. Our personal high-point was GIANTS member Paul Waterhouse drop-punting into a tyre stack from 50 metres and walking away with $100,000 in the Toyo Tires kick for cash, as Spotless Stadium exploded around him.
On behalf of Toyo Tires worldwide we wanted to take a moment to wish the GIANTS the best of luck for the finals season. It has been a privilege to be a part of the journey so far. As the youngest club in the AFL, just getting to the finals is an achievement that has etched the GIANTS into AFL history.
GIANTS fans and members are wonderful, dedicated people and if anyone is capable of pulling off the miraculous, it is Leon Cameron and his team of elite athletes.
We are proud to be GIANTS.
The game starts at 3:20pm AEST. If you can’t get to the game you can watch it live at home on Fox Footy and 7mate.
