Returning to battle again last weekend was Australian Dakar Rally veteran Bruce Garland. The ARB Silver City 600 Cross Rally was the first race after Garland fractured a vertebra during the Dakar Rally in Chile in January.
The ARB Silver City 600 Cross Country Rally is a new event which has been created along the lines of the famous Australasian Safari. The event was run on the 5th and 6th of November at Broken Hill racecourse, with approximately 600km of competitive stages over the two days.
The Toyo sponsored Isuzu Motor Sport Team entered their 3 D-Max vehicles.
The result of the team was positive, with 2 of the 3 vehicles completing the event. Garland and long-time navigator Harry Suzuki were third outright in the inaugural Cross Country Rally.
Congratulations!
