“We regularly fit Toyo tyres to builds at @BAW Automotive, and after hearing great customer feedback I knew that it was time to give them a go,” begins Shaun (@swalshy_79), who opted for the legendary Open Country R/T for his 79 Series, as the rugged yet refined hybrid tyre best suited his driving style. “They’ve been super quiet on road for daily driving, but very effective when using it off-road,” Shaun adds.
The ‘Cruiser has received a long list of mods to make it Shaun’s go-anywhere off-roader. Extensive ARB bar work, a custom snorkel, a 4-inch lift and those great Dirtylife DT2 17x9in wheels are but a few of the mods fitted in the two years Shaun has owned the vehicle.
